Usage & Performance	A separate flange is assembled and installed onto the ductwork,it’s characteristics as follow: 1.The bead on the external web of the profile section simplifies the fitting of clamps. 2.The angled section of the profile provides additional rigidity(resistance against traction in the corner piece areas,and against compression generated by the gasket between the corners). 3.The “hd” version of the profiles has an injected soft sealant into which the edge of the duct imbeds. 4.The edge of the duct serves as a stop when fitting the flange frame,thus avoiding distortion or bowing of the profile section. 5.The dished internal web presses against the duct wall, acting as a metallic self-sealing lip. 6.The upturned leading edge on some profiles allows the flange to easily pass onto the duct wall.
Installation Instructions
	Step1 Cutting the Profiles to Length TDC flange only requires ordinary fretsaw for cutting.The flange strip should be cut to 30mm shorter than the length of duct groove.The flange also should be cut as the direction shown in the picture to prevent metal cutting damage on flange structure.The notching should be slippery after cutting. Step 2 Frame Assembly - Assemble the frames vertically,and not horizontally. a) Insert two corner pieces in the ends of both longer profile sections. b) Insert two shorter profile sections on the corners of one of the profiles. c) Insert the second longer profile with its corners into the shorter profiles. The corner pieces are designed to fit closely into the profile inner shape.A rubber mallet might therefore be necessary to insert them into the profile ends. Step 3Insert the flange frame into the duct from one side of the frame,then along the wholeflange frame. Step 4Fix the flange into the duct by various methods,spot welding or riveting.But distance forfixing must be taken as standard DW 144 Table5. The maximum distance from angle to the fixingpoint should not exceed 50mm. Step5Suggested that when the flange fixed on the end of the wind jets, the entire flange and flange angle of internal or external should be painted with an appropriate sealant hose wind.
