The Stairmax is theonly stairclimber worldwidethat allows wheelchair driver to go up and down straight stairs without the need for an assisting person.

The users active wheelchair needs a small adapation to the frame of the wheelchair. This adaptation is normally done by Lehner Lifttechnik GmbH. The Stairmax can be used to drive on straight stairs with intermediate landings having a minimum width of 1 m.
