We offer spruce and pine lumber that is produced of trees are cut in northwestern regions of Russia.
Spruce wood is very soft and has an average density of 470 kg / m ³ at 12-15% humidity. With the increase in the width of tree rings (and the associated decrease in the proportion of late wood), the density decreases, the mechanical quality is also deteriorating - so wood with a width of tree rings from 4 to 6 mm only is fit for construction.
Pine has an average density - 520 kg / m ³ at 12-15% moisture content and is relatively heavy in relation to other conifers. Mechanical properties are very good, while at the same time, its spread is very large and depends on the growth conditions of the tree.
Spruce and pine are easy for sawing, planing, milling, jointing and through other techniques, as well as connection with screws, nails and gluing. These wood species are stained well.
