SA Thin-bed, Cement-based Tile Adhesive On An Exterior Wall And On A Floor

Ceramic tile is commonly used for flooring, showers and countertops. Tiles are installed with mortar, which is basically a type of cement spread on the back of the tile or on the surface you are tiling. After all the tiles are set into the mortar and leveled out, the mortar must harden for at least 24 hours. At this point. grout is applied to fill in all the gaps between the tiles.
thinset mortar is better for applications in bathrooms and other high-moisture areas. The process for installation is using a notched trowel to lay the material in thin rows that assist in adhesion by creating suction.

Substrate Preparation

  • Substrate should be flat ,hard, level, dry, and clean with normal absorption
  • Clean the surface until free of grease, dust or any stains
  • Old paint or plaster should be removed
  • Substrate been repaired should be preserved at least 48 hours

  • Avoid application if too hot or freezing weather
  • Avoid application under direct sunlight and strong wind
