Reinforcing Bar Mesh
We supply reinforcing bar mesh in all standard sizes in a variety of wire gauges in both plain and deformed wire.It is manufactured to SANS 1024:2006 and to other international standard specifications. Reinforcing bar welded mesh is made of galvanized welded wire mesh for constructional uses, for example, block slab structure reinforcing, hollowed slabs reinforcement, building wall reinforcement and support wall reinforcement. It has the continuous lengths of joint reinforcement that are embedded into the horizontal mortar joints of masonry walls. Joint reinforcement has long proven to be necessary for superior performance of masonry wall construction.
Although generally used in surface beds (concrete floor slabs on fill) and concrete roads, reinforcing bar welded mesh can also be used in suspended floor slabs, concrete walls, culverts / drains and composite brick / concrete retaining walls. The manufacture process is as follows:
* Mittal steel with medium-low carbon mild steel rod
* The mild steel rod is cold rolled by our company to the required diameter to form high tensile wire
* The high tensile wires are welded into a rectangular mesh grid fabric
Materials:steel bar, iron rod
Wire diameter: from 3mm to 16mm.
Panels opening: from 50mm to 200mm, the Vertical from 25. mm to 500m
Panel length: 1.0m to 12m
Panel width: 0.5m to 3.0m
Application
Reinforcing bar welded wire mesh is the most commonly used form of prefabricated reinforcement and is particularly suitable for flat slab construction and concrete surface beds. Other designed applications include:
