Description:

Named for its section is similar to the English letter “H”, H steel is a kind of economic sectional material, which section area’s distribution is more optimized and the strength to weight ratios is better-proportioned. It has been widely applied for the advantages of high anti-bending ability, simple construction, saving cost and light structure due to its every parts of H steel are arranged at right angles.

Application:

H steel is a kind of new economic construction steel.

The H steel’s cross section shape is reasonable in economy, and has good mechanical properties, the section of the extending is uniform, internal stress is small when rolling. Compared with flange beam, it has the advantages of section modulus, weight light, saving metal, and can make the building structure weight reduce 30-40%; and because the leg medial and lateral parallel, leg end is a right angle, when assembled into components, can save welding, riveting work of 25%. It is commonly used in large construction sections which require good bearing capacity and stability (such as buildings, high-rise buildings and so on), as well as bridges, ships, lifting transport machinery, equipment, support, foundation pile and so on.
