2.With a grain that runs longitudinally through the veneer layers, LVL is specially kiln dried to 10-15% moisture content

Uses: for all kinds of fumigation-free packaging ; formwork ;Construction beams, rafters and columns for wide range of buiding structurals .

LVL is often used to complement the use of sawn timber in domestic construction. In commercial or industrial structures it is often used as a wood-based alternative to structural steel or reinforced concrete.

Generally LVL is chosen when sawn timber is not strong enough to support the structural, or longer lengths are needed
