Description
JK-06 PLis a ready-to-use aqueous solution of hydroxylated organic compounds with water reducing and set retarding for concrete. JK-06 PL is a liquid set retarding concrete admixture with a plasticizing effect. Substantial water reduction can be achieved without loss of workability. It complies with ASTM C494 Type D specifications.
Uses
- JK-06 PL is recommended foruse in all applications where high quality concrete with superior workability, high temperature, long hauls, ready-mix and extended set time and dense concrete is required.
Advantage
- Extends concrete initial setting time for proper finishing without cold joint during hot weather.
- Long-lasting control of slump loss, Reduce water without loss of workability and improved finishing characteristics.
- Provides decreased permeability but increased durability and strength and reduced shrinkage and creep.
- Chloride free, does not attack reinforcement.

Dosage
0.24– 0.6% by weight of cement. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.
