Pearly - Sunlight Without Heat

VULCANPearlyGREENandPearlyREDGreenhouse Farm sheet uses translucent heat reflecting pigments. These pigments have the unique property of reflecting the sunlight‘s invisible heat radiation, while allowingthe majority of the visible light to pass.

VULCANPolycarbanatePearlysheet provides outstanding characeristics for translucent systems in architecture and horticulture, as well as for all applications where a lot of light is needed but little heat is desired. Whether in skylights, greenhouses, blinds or conservatories, VULCAN PolycarbonatePearlysheet abosrbs little visible light while reducing heat considerably. Depending on theindividual application conditions, rooms are up to15°Ccooler compared to non-pigmented systems.

VULCANPearlyGreensheets are especially suitable for use in archetecture since themaximum transmission of the passing light is in the green area of the visible light - exactlywhere the human eye is most light sensitive.

VULCAN PolycarbonateCorrugatedPearlyGREENsheet uses 100% Virgin resin fromMitsubishiJapan, with added weather resistant gradePearly GREENpigment.

VULCAN Polycarbonate CorrugatedPearly GREENsheet has aLilac/Greenish Hue, and creates a significant drop in temperature (Depending on the individual application conditions, rooms are up to 15°c cooler compared to non-pigmented systems), owing to its ability to block harmful UV and IR rays.

Since Pearly GREENwas specially designed for humans and living organisms, and focuses more on it's cooling abilities.

As with all of our polycarbonate products,VULCANPearlyuses optical grade UV400 resin fromSumitomo Dow ChemicalsJapan to protect itself from harmful UV rays.

VULCAN Polycarbonate Sheets are produced using advanced Co-Extrusion process to ensure an evenly UV coated surface. We use feedblocks from EDI (Extrusion Dies Inc.) and the extrusion process is controlled fromDyniscosystems.

Impurity leads to less quality, which is why VULCAN Polycarbonate sheets are produced in clean rooms; the cleaner the environment, the cleaner the sheets, and hence a longer lifespan.
