EPS sandwich panels are very common building materials for light steel structure and prefabricated houses. The sandwich panels are made of three layers, with the middle layer of different heat insulation sandwiched by color steel sheet. The polystyrene is featured by its light weight, water-resistant and good sound insulation. Most polystyrene in China market is of B2 fire-rate which is just for temporary building in moist environment. Only in 2011,there was more than 37 fire accident in China and Beijing Buidling Officals had passed severe laws against the application of EPS sandwich panels, and manufacturers in Beijing are not allowed to manufacture the EPS sandwich panels.
