Introduction

Haotubi KS-901B flexible polymer cement waterproof latex is composed of superior polymer waterproof latex which only for building and various auxiliaries. After mixing with cement and applying on base surface, the latex can form a flexible waterproof course that has excellent elasticity, adhesive stress, rupture strength, impermeability, crack resistance, weatherability, acid and alkali resistance. This product is free of poison and pollution and easy to operate, which perfectly complies with the requirement for environmental protection.

Operation Methods

Base surface treatment: Keep it smooth, clean, firm, and without dust, water or oil stain. Where there is a flaw such as a honeycomb or crack must be repaired at first, and then internal and external corners should be made into circular arcs. The base surface that is too dry should be made wet by sprinkling water before operation.

Formula for waterproof latex

Latex : cement = 1 : 0.8(wt.). Stir them into fine,

well-proportioned and non-granule mixture with an electric agitator. Use it up in 30 minutes after opening the package.

Latex application

Apply the prepared waterproof latex evenly over the base surface. A second or third application is generally needed to reach the thickness required by the design. The time interval of each application is based on the last non-sticking coating, which is about 120 minutes (depending on weather). A next application must be done perpendicular to the former one.

If inspection and acception is carried out by sprinkling or storing water, it must be done 7 days later after the coating is well cured. In addition, it is forbidden to spray the coating directly with pressure water.

Reinforcement

Use fiberglass cloth or non-woven fabrics for this part.

Cautions

1. Add a certain amount of water to dilute the waterproof latex if it is too thick.

2. Remaining procedures such as sticking facing tiles should be carried out 7-10 days later after the coating is well cured.

3. The cement must be common Portland cement above 32.5 (R).

4. The waterproof latex will work better if it is shaked up before used. And it must

be used up at one time, or it will fail to work.

5. Referenced application amount: The referenced application amount of 1-mm-thick coating is about 1.0kg/m².
