ISONEM UNI-OIL (CONCRETE RELEASE OIL) - UNIOIL

ISONEM UNI OILis a blend of high quality mineral oils and emulsifiers. It is a ready to use, universal type of mould release agent formulated to provide easy release properties to formwork and high quality surface finish.

AREAS OF USE

It can be used on all types of wooden formwork, especially on formworks with absorbent surfaces. (including the plywood type formwork with worn-out skin/coating). When applied to steel, plastic or timber formwork allows clean, fast and easy striking.

ADVANTAGES

- Helps achieve easy releasing and a uniform stain-free /smooth concrete surface,

- Reduces formwork stripping and eliminates the loss of cleaning time prolonging the cleaning intervals,

- Extends the service life and the surface quality of the formwork reducing the fixed costs,

- Will not cause adherence problems therefore eliminates the need to use a primer on the concrete surfaces prior to the plastering and/or painting applications.

- Suitable for use on wood, metals and plastic.

APPLICATION

Formwork surfaces should be clean from all loose particles. A thin layer should be applied evenly with a bristle brush, roller or a spraying equipment. A single coat is usually enough. Excessive material on the shutterings should be mopped up prior to placing the concrete.

Following the application, the surfaces should be protected against rain for the first couple of hours.

COVERAGE

20 to 80 m² / kg according to the surface condition of the formwork and the method of application.

ATTENTION: ISONEM UNI - OIL should be kept free from frost.
