Bidirectional tripod turnstile is an electro mechanical turnstiles. Its unique mechanical drive design allow the arm to be pushed effortlessly and auto-rotate back without any expensive electric motor

Vertical Tripod Turnstile can effectively control high volume human traffic ( up to 45 person per minutes ) while still maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. They can easily be integrated with any electronic system for ticketing, access control or time attendance.

Vertical Tripod Turnstile is suitable for both indoor and outdoor(Shed). They are optimized economical solution for railway, bus station, factory, colleges, commercial building, library, stadium, game park, hotel, super market, bank and etc

1. Mechanical drive unit with solenoid locking mechanism eliminate the use of expensive electric motor and reduce maintenance cost

2. If arm rotated more than half, it will auto-rotate to the next idle position. If arm rotated less than half, it will auto-rotate back to the current idle position.

3. Built in adjustable tensioner to control rotation force to minimize over rotation. Arm just need to be pushed lightly to rotate therefore even elderly or children are able to use the turnstile.

4. Turnstile can be configured to be bi-directional or uni-directional. Housing is locked with special key to avoid tampering.

5. When power off, the arm will be dropped down (optional set free passage when power off) to the request of fire protection. When power on, the arm can lift by hand.

6. Emergency configuration: The tripod will drop automatically by power off to provide a clear walkway for escape in the event of an emergency

7. Control panel with count and LED digital function. Traffic-light: A Red Cross symbol will illuminate to indicate the unit is not available for pass, and a green arrow indicate the direction of allowable passing
8. It can be used for intelligent control and management of the passage after equipped with diffent access control system.

9. A valid lock action can allow one passage at one time. It will lock automatically if passage through turnstile is not completed within pre-set time, the set time(from 2-60 seconds, by default, it is 10 seconds) can be set up with the built-in small keyboard or software.

10 .Self-recovery function: The machine will recovery automatically with invalid counting if passage is not completed within pre-set time (5 seconds default, adjustable by software).

1 - Does the bidirectional tripod turnstile come with a RS485 PC software?

The turnstile itself doesn’t come with a RS485 PC software,you need purchase the RS485 door access control and card reader.But we suggest you purchase TCP/IP door access control and card reader.Because it doesn’t need converter,and use internet cable it can directly communicate with a computer.Compare with RS485 dooraccess control,It is more convenient and transfer speed much faster.

2-Can I communicate the bidirectional tripod turnstile direct with a PC?

No,you can’t communicate the turnstile directly with a pc,because the main board just outputlow level signal,but pc can not receive low level signal,so the turnstile must connect a door access control then can connect with a pc.

3 - They come with the complete command manual (if we want to develop our own software)?

For normalpassagecontrol,we have compete command manul for you.,Many clients from different contries use our software,don’t need second develop.If your company has the ability to develop your own software, we can provide SDK to you.

4-can I use just oneaccess controlcontrol 2 pcs bidirectional tripod turnstile ?

You can use one one access control for double doors to control 2pcs turnstile,but the 2 turnstiles must be very close,because if the distant is far,first,it will not convenient to set up the cable,second the singal will be less then can influence the whole facality.So,for 2 doors,we suggest you use 2 access control.

5-Does the bidirectional tripod turnstile have the RFID card reader inside it?

The turnstile itself doesn’t have RFID card reader inside it,you need set a RFID card reader inside it.

6-If I want each bidirectional tripod turnstile is bi-directional, do I need 2 sets card reader in it?

Yes,if you need bi-directional,you need set 2 sets card reader inside the turnstile.
