Finnish Scots pine is an excellent material for furniture making. The wood is tough and durable, yet wonderfully easy to work. Surface finishing your glulam furniture is also easy, since the panels come ready-sanded. All you need is some sand paper to smooth-off any sawn surfaces, and you are ready to start waxing or lacquering.

Furniture made from surface-finished, solid wood glulam panels has significantly superior moisture resistance to chipboard furniture. It is also light, durable and, if necessary, easy to repair. Nothing wasted

Furniture made from glued laminated wood is also safe, as it produces no unhealthy indoor air emissions. Only trace amounts of non-toxic wood adhesive are used to make glulam panels, so any wood dust and sawdust produced when machining and working the panel can be burned in the fireplace or used as compost litter.
