FRP rebar:
Steel rebar is a very common building material for the construction of facilities and structures. However, the limited tensile strength, poor design and the presence of the aggressive agents, all of the above conditions can lead to both cracking of the concrete and corrosion of the steel rebar.
FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rebar has arisen as preferable substitute to fill the defect of normal rebar. FRP reinforcement is the better choice for concrete structures. We can offer a wide range of different shapes, and every shape used in steel rebar can also be produced in FRP.
APPLICATION FIELDS:
Based on features above, FRP rebars appear to be promising alternative to steel reinforcement in concrete structures such as marine structures, parking structures, bridge decks, highway under extreme environments, subway tunnel, airport construction, Waterway Engineering and structures highly susceptible to corrosion and magnetic fields.
