FLOWABLE, SWELLING, FAST CURING GROUTING MORTAR

Description
FGM 900 isa non-shrink, and expanding cq swelling grout. It has been designed toprovide early set strengths, while still allowing good flow andworkability for correct and easy placement of the grout.

Properties
Very high initial and final strengths. 45 N/mm2after 18 hrs, 92,0 N/mm2 after 28 days.

It is non-shrink and expands once mixed. 1 bag gives approximately 15 ltr of admixture.

Workability time ca 60 minutes at 20 degrees celcius
Singlepack ready mixed, only requires addition of 4,5-5 ltr ofwater.
Sufficient open time to allow for properplacement.Workability time ca 60 minutes at 20 degrees celciusEconomical and easy to use.

Suitable are 3 different products with

1 mm grain size, grouting hight till 30 mm

4 mm grain size, grouting hight from 10 till 50 mm

8 mm grain size, grouting hight from 30 mm and higher.

Also available specialsproductversions suitable for use with temperatures under 0 degreescelsius and very quick curing types. Also other cementious basedtypes of special products normal grouting mortar, cementious basedwaterproofings for basements etc. etc.

Joining andsealing of precast panels, segments and elements.

Application guidelines

1. Surface preparation
All surfaces to be oil, grease, dirt,curing compound and laitance free. Remove by grit/water blasting,scabbling or any appropriate mechanical means.
Concrete is to bepre-saturated with clean water. Remove any excess standing waterprior to placement.
Metal surfaces to be free of scale, rust, oiland grease.

2. Mixing
Always mix the grout close to the area ofapplication. Once it has set beyond a practical consistency, it isnot possible to render it usable by mixing in additional water.
Theproduct is designed for mechanical mixing.
Ensure that there isclean water available per 25 kg bag before commencing.
Allow themix to stand for 1 minute to allow all admixtures to activate.

3. Application and placement
If applicable, shutter the area tobe grouted prior to application. Shutters to have a suitable releaseagent applied to all contact surfaces.
Under difficultcircumstances, agitating it with a hand-held object such as a lengthof plastic, wood or metal, can assist the flowability of the grout.It is important not to agitate the grout to the point of separation.

4. Curing
The use of standard concrete curing techniquesis advised i.e. light water fogging, damp hessian covering, plasticencapsulation or suitable water based curing compound isrecommended.
