Epoxy Based Floor and Wall Paint - EPOX FL 500

Description

EPOX FL 500 is a epoxy based, two component, solvent free and thin layer coating for floors and walls.

Surface preparation

Surfaces must be clean, sound and dry. Dust, oil, grease, old coatings, laitance, efflorence, rust, curing compounds,

waxes, form oil and similar contaminations should be cleaned or removed prior to application.

Depending on substrate conditions the surface must be prepared non-porous by applying a primer and / or scratch coat

with EPOX PR 100, which must be lightly sprinkled with clean, dry quartz sand.

Preparation of mixture

Condition material to room temperature. Premix A and B components. Add B component to A component and mix until

uniform in color. Transfer mixture to clean container and mix again for at least 1 minute.

Application

Add the contents of pack B ( hardener ) to pack A. And then mix together with a slow speed electric drill until a smooth

an deven consistency is achieved.

Use a roller to apply EPOX FL 500 evenly with the same layer thickness.

After 15 hours of curing apply a second coat.

Prior to, during and after the application the temperature of the substrate must be at least

+3°C above the current dew point temperature.

According to surface conditions 0,250 kg/m².

Storage

12 months when unopened and stored correctly.
