Diethanolisopropanolamine (DEIPA)

Diethanolisopropanolamine (DEIPA) is an alkanol amine used in the formulation of cement additives and concrete admixtures. Besides being a good grinding aid in the cement mill, DEIPA increases the strength of cements at all hydration ages, and cements blended with fly ash and slag tend to show a greater response to the chemical.

Triisopropanolamine(TIPA)

Triisopropanolamine is used as a cross-linker in special niche water-based coating applications. The cement and concrete industries use TIPA as a grinding aid, and it is used in concrete admixtures. TIPA is used as a neutralizing agent in agricultural products and water borne coatings.

According to Vice Minister, Vajiollah Jafari, Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines,said at the end of 2012, Iran cement production capacity will come to 115 million tons in the year of 2013, and it will need approximately 115 thousand tons of grinding aids, and DEIPA or TIPA consumption will be 17 thousand tons, this is will be big chance to start business. In the region of Mid East, the consumption of those two materials can be even reach 30 thousand tons. But in the region of Mid East, there is no competitor to produce these two materials, but they use to import it from countries like China, India and Europe.
