Combined house of Mgo board - 1220mm*2440mm*8mm-12mm

(a)alvanized steel channel sections;shall be fixed on the floor and ceiling,using 22mm anchor fixings,set at 600mm centers and inset 305mm from the vertical edges of the partition.

(b) Galvanized steel studding,shall be installed vertically in the top and bottom track at 400mm interval,allowing a 15mm gap at the top of each stud for expansion.The stud forming the restrained edge of the partition,shall be fixed to frame using 22mm anchor fixings at 1220mm centers inset 600mm and 610mm from the top and bottom of the partition respectively.The stud at the other side of the partition shall not be fixed (unrestrained edge) as required by the standard.

(c) One layer of magnesium oxide board shall be fixed onto each face of the steel frame,with the joints on each face staggered by countersunk self-tapping screw at nominally 400mm intervals.The boards shall not be fixed by any screws on the bottom frame on the floor.

(d) Slabs of mineral wool fiber shall be cut to size and interference fitted into the steel channel sections so that the original faces of rockwool slab shall be paralleled to the clad exposed face boards.

(e) Two layers of nominal 30mm thick mineral wool slabs shall be then interference fitted between the studs to give a total thickness of 60mm (2*30mm) and a vertical displacement between horizontal joints.

(f) The unexposed face of the partition shall be then clad with nominal magnesium oxide board giving a lateral displacement between vertical board joints on the exposed and unexposed faces of the partition of 610mm,and a vertical displacement of horizontal boards joints of 2440mm.

(g) Gaps at all board joints,plus screw fixings at joints and intermediate position,shall be infilled and covered with fibrous adhesive,applied to give a board covering approximately 0.5mm thick in the immediate vicinity of the joints and fixings.
