this type of cement is produced according to the requirements of IRIS standards No.389,USA Standards/ASTM-C150 with chemical and physical properties similar to those of 1-325 cement but higher heat of hydration,more rapit setting time as well as higher rate of initial and final resistance than 1-325 type.

portland cement 1-425 is used in our reinforced and non-reinforced concrete structures where, as compared to 1-325 type, early strength including columns, celling, bridge abutments and structures requiring rapid molding are required and, also, it may be used in cold weather too. Due to higher heat of hydration it is recommended to control the application of this cement and soley use it in places with low disruptive effects of sulfate attack on concrete.
