Bonding agent and mortar additive

AXEL LATEX 1001EGis a specially modified emulsion base bonding agent used normally as a bonding agent to increase adhesive between two cement substrates as well as increase cohesive link between the cement matrix.

AXEL LATEX 1001is commonly used as an additive in the cement sand screed or used as a slurry blend with cement to form a bond coat between old and new screed or wall plaster.

* For higher strength floor screeds with less ‘dusting’, improved flexibility and resistance to cracking.

* For wear resistance floor toppings in water treatment works, sewage systems, etc.

* As an additive to repair mortars for patching and filling.

* As a bonding agent for rendering, tile fixing and masonry jointing mortars, etc.

* As a bonding grout between old and new concrete, as well as in construction joints.

* Increases adhesion, flexural and tensile strength

Mix sand and cement first, then addAXEL LATEX 1001solution as required.

Mix either by hand or with low speed drill for no more than 2 minutes. For further application refer to annexed copy.

Before application ofAXEL LATEX 1001EGensure that the substrate must be sound, clean and free from oil, grease, laitance, loose particles or dust. All absorbent substrates must be pre-wetted to saturated surface dry (SSD) condition.
