Bitumen waterproofing emulsion - B PR 101

Description

It is a waterproofing material ready to use obtained by mixing water and bitumen by using special methods.

After the evaporation of the structural water, it makes a waterproof layer on the applied surface.

Usage Areas
B PR 101 is used as a priming coat before the application of all brands of bitumen membranes. Thanks to the superior sticking property, it provides a stronger and no cavity-surface sticking for the bitumen membranes applied on it.

The cavities in the base can be corrected or a protective layer can be established on the insulation part, with alum obtained by mixing B PR 101 and sieved thin sand and some cement and applying with a trowel.

For the application of the gluing of the parquets with hot bitumen, it is applied on alum as a primary coating.

In order to disassemble the constructional moulds it is applied to constructional moulds and a plain surface is obtained and prevents the harm effect of the concrete water to the moulds.

Advantages
It is very economical.

It can be used in closed areas for not containing toxic and flammable substances.

After the evaporation of the structural water, establishes a waterproof layer not redissolving with water.

Surface Preparation
The application surface should be without dust, rust, dirt, grease and oil and the loose parts should be scrapped out.

The sharp points or horizontal-vertical joint places subject to cracking should be rounded.

The large pores and the cracks should be filled with REPAMERK repair mortar.

Application
B PR 101 is cold applicable.

After mixing with the water with 20% percentage, it is applied by bitumen brush, roller or gun.

It dries within about 4-5 hours depending on the weather conditions.

It should not apply in rainy days or with the temperatures lower than +5°C.

A new layer should not be applied before the previous one has fully dried.

Cleaning Of The Tools
The cleaning of the tools is accomplished with soapy water just after the usage but with industrial type of solvents after it dried.
