BASALT
BASALT is a natural stone, which is primarily preffered due to the fact that it is rarely affected from corrosion and the climatic conditions. The area of usage of BASALT, which is deemed that it will clearly be indispensible in near future, is increasing day by day.
BASALT is used in every stage of architectural structures, infrastructure and superstructure, floor and surface covering, city roads, pavements, tretuvar sidewalks and garden arrangements at different thicknesses and dimensions.
In addition;
It is also used for the following purposes;
- Broken BASALT stone, taking into consideration its physical and mechanical properties, is added to the concrete compound as aggregate at different doses and rates.
- Basalt stone has already taken the place of limestone on railways.
- It is used in glass-ceramic and mineral based isolation systems.
- Wool rock, which is obtained from BASALT, is used for all kinds of ships and at flooring and wall isolation of other structures built on the sea, at fire doors due to its resistance to the high tenperatures, boilers and boiler rooms, in air conditioner equipments and canals, chimney and chimney gas canals, tanks and stocks, wall modules and ceiling isolation
