A wide and grand beige/ cream color Rococo chimneypiece in the manner of Louis XV.
The serpentine shelf above the panelled and cross hatched frieze centred by a large shell & acanthus leaf cartouche flanked by rosette emblems and echoed on the proud protruding, angled and scrolling panelled jambs. All carved in high relief and supported on substantial moulded footblocks.
