Permacure ACQ 223 is a Water Bourne Preservative used for the protection of wood in service against attack by wood-destroying fungi, insect larvae and termites. It is applied to wood by vacuum pressure treatment in an autoclave at the timber yard or factory where the timber product is produced. The preservative is applied to the wood in sufficient quantity to meet specific Standards, Codes of practice, or other specifications designed to give timber products a long service life.
Permacure ACQ 223 Complies to AWPA Type C, and consists of Copper Carbonate, which is the primary Fungicide and insecticide. The product also contains an Ammonium Quaternary compound, namely Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC), which provides additional fungicide and insect resistance properties.
