Our RTM process is to achieve consistent skin thickness and wood grain definition.

The door skin is of through colour with a through colour gel coat & resin, with 1kg of gel coat per skin. Polyester resin to be unfilled.

2 .Skin Thickness Tolerances

The thickness of the skin is 3.0mm, +/- 0.5mm

3 .Gloss Level

Gloss is consistent and even across the complete skin,.

4.Surfaces

Gel Coat (Front surface)

No spotting, striations, fibre pattern, blisters, crazing or cracking

Resin (Rear Surface)

No exposed fibre pattern or skin repair

5.Skin Edge

The edge of the skin is solid with no air or pinholes in the resin.

6. Gel Coat

The Gelcoat is of exterior grade UV stabilised Isothalic gel

7. Flatness

The skin have a suitable flatness that will accommodate the Grouphomesafe adhesive application process. The rear of the skin is smooth and even, without undulations, loose fibres or protrusions.
