AREA OF USE

SA802 is used as an embedding mortar applied over EPS (expanded polystyrene), XPS (extruded polystyrene) and mineral wool panels to embed the glass fibre mesh prior to application of finish coats.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

SA802 should be mixed on site with water in the ratio of approximately 4.55 parts Styrobond DP to 1 part water by weight, mixing with a high speed mixer for 3-5 minutes. Allow the material to stand for 10 minutes, remix and use. Mix only enough material for immediate use.

Remarks:

1)Only mix with water, no other addition

2)The temperature of air and glue must be from 5°C~35°C

3)The glue must be used up in 2h

4)Avoid sunshine, high temperature and freezing

5)Avoid strong wind during application

6)Avoid rain during application

Substrate requirement

1) Polystyrene board must be clean (no dust or dirt)

2) Polystyrene board must be fixed stably (Wait min 24h before applying shunan. therm epsad)

3)The surface of the whole polystyrene board wall must be level

Preparation

polystyreneboard must be fixed stably

Polish the EPS/XPS board to make sure the whole polystyrene wall is flat

APPLICATION & CLEANING OF TOOLS

When used as an embedding mortar, SA802 mix to the XPS board and embed the mesh using a trowel. Apply another coat of mix to the surface to ensure full cover of the mesh and an overall thickness of approximately 3mm.
Clean tools and equipment with water after use.

PACKAGING & STORAGE

Store containers in a clean dry area protected from direct sunlight and extreme heat and cold. Unopened containers can be stored for 6 months. Use oldest material first.
